Partnership with INLAKS Shivdasani Foundation | 2000 - 2023

Cittadellarte's partnership with Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation is a successful cooperation since 2000, in the context of UNIDEE's research residency programme. The main purpose for this fellowship is to enable a young talented Indian artist to enhance his or her practice in relation to Cittadellarte's artistic ethos and the Italian cultural context.

The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation (www.inlaksfoundation.org) was established by Indoo Shivdasani in 1976 as a permanent platform for his philanthropic activities. The Foundation focuses on providing scholarships, grants and awards in any field to outstanding young Indians to develop their professional, scientific, artistic and cultural abilities.

The aim of this residency grant is to enrich the artist's practice through networking activities and meetings with national and international experts. The UNIDEE team organises study and research trips to engage with the international art scene in Italy and to visit the artists' institutional spaces, exhibitions and events (especially in Turin, Milan and Venice).
