Corner

Affective Cuisine is the theory and practice of Cittadellarte’s Cafeteria – Glocal Restaurant: based on responsibility and creativity, it teaches a declination of the affections surrounding good food, rediscovering the values of conversation, memory and creativity.

Affective Cuisine provides the methods for realizing the Corners, micro-enterprises offering creative, sustainable cuisine, and that encourage the meeting of cultures through conviviality and food.

The Corners offer quality food and convivium typical of the Italian tradition, integrating it with the various local cultures.

Corners can be opened in a wide range of places, from restaurants to broader public meeting spaces, artist’s residences and cultural centers, as demonstrated for example by the experience of the Corner realized in Guangzhou, China, through a collaboration between the Cafeteria and Qiu Jun, a former resident of UNIDEE – University of Ideas.

In Colombia. through another collaboration with the Faculty of Art, Anthropology, Nutrition and Dietetics of the Medellin University, another glocal restaurant under the sign of Affective Cuisine.
