Kiddiecover
Kiddiecover, by Natasa Perkovic & Cittadellarte, forms part of the wider project Un paese di stoffa buona, by the commune of Valle Mosso to valorize the territory, defend its cultural heritage and to stimulate a policy of re-launch and sustainable development, in a context of close collaboration between this industrial district and the public authorities.
In this initiative, Cittadellarte took the role of activator in the creation of a cultural project that involved the international artists of Manydee (former UNIDEE – Università delle Idee residents), activators of a creative responsibility, that consisted in the realization of a blanket for the children of the territory’s kindergartens.
Out of the numerous proposals, the Kiddiecover project by artist Natasa Perkovic was selected, consisting of a reversible sleep-play blanket, based on the perception that a child has of colors and forms, as well as on the double face production process of fabrics in pure wool, worked so that the two sides have different colors: one that’s good for sleep, the other more energetic for play.
Kiddiecover is produced and manufactured by Botto Giuseppe, Successori Reda and Zegna Baruffa, analyzed and certified by Tessile e Salute (Textiles and Health).
